The Tribal Dog application is a service for dogs and their owners to come together for the purpose of building community (small and large). It fosters a sense of belonging and sharing to support, engage and experience life as a tribe. Each tribe builds its own identity and brand.
This application was developed with dogs and dog owners as the focal point. While it could have been broader in scope to include all pet species, we intentionally kept it to dogs and focused on what a community of dogs and dog owners would desire in a social application.

Tribal Dog Features List
This feature allows new application users to self register for the application and existing users to securely access the application. It also allows for resetting a forgotten password for existing users.
This feature acts as a dashboard/overview for the application user once they have successfully logged into the application. It gives the user a quick overview of their dogs, tribes and events that are specific to them.
This feature allows the user to add, edit and remove their dogs to the application. They can include a picture of their dog as well as pertinent information such as name, breed, birthday and the like. This is important for when they add their dogs to any tribe.
Tribes are where communities are formed and driven. This feature gives the application user the ability to create, edit and remove their own tribes as well as join existing tribes. Tribes can be public (open to anyone) or private (invitation only).
Tribes have a chat feature that allows any member of the tribe to chat (text and/or photos) with the rest of the tribe. This helps build the sense of community and engagement.
Tribes also have a feature to create events. Events are yet another way of building a community by providing a way to announce a celebration or physical meetup.
This feature allows owners to give pertinent information about themselves like name, nickname, phone numbers and addresses. This can be vital if an owner wants to announce a lost dog or play date at their home or just share contact information.
